Holomem Board Upgrade Guide
How Holomem Board nodes, Dream Rank gates, Connect slots, resets, and account-wide bonuses fit into a sensible early upgrade plan.
Read node value by where the effect works
Each holomem has an individual board. Red nodes mainly matter when that holomem is the leader, blue nodes when used as a regular member, while yellow and green support paths can include song, Park, dispatch, or roster-wide effects that remain useful without fielding that holomem. This distinction is more useful than simply opening the nearest node.
Dream Rank and materials limit the route
Later board areas are gated by Dream Rank, so normal Live and quest progress is part of board progression. Opening connected nodes consumes Holomem Board Points, colored cubes, and related materials; distant targets also require the path leading to them. Plan toward a meaningful node instead of spending materials evenly around the start.
Upgrade the current role first
For a holomem used as leader, prioritize the red route and any leader skill that directly supports the team's purpose. For a regular member, start with blue parameter or activation nodes. For characters outside the active team, only invest early when a yellow or green account-wide effect is efficient enough to benefit several teams.
Treat Connect slots as positioning decisions
Connect slots can hold eligible high-rarity cards and strengthen nearby board nodes according to their range and effect. Place a card to amplify the nodes you actually use, then compare the result against other possible positions. A high-rarity card in a poorly aligned slot is not automatically better than a modest option covering the right cluster.
Use resets to test, but record the cost
The board can be reset with Holo Gold, and community references report that board points and cubes are returned. That makes route testing less permanent, but it is not free. Save a screenshot or short note before changing a developed board so score tests can be compared under the same song and team conditions.
A practical early investment order
First unlock the key leader and member nodes for one reliable team, then add inexpensive global support nodes, and only then spread into collection-focused boards. This keeps early clears stable while avoiding the common mistake of owning many half-built boards with no team strong enough for score or event goals.
