Most players should start with the redrawable opening gacha
The official launch announcement says the opening gacha can be redrawn until satisfied and lets players choose one highest-rarity card from the result. That makes full account rerolling less important than in games where the first roll is fixed. New players should first secure a strong favorite or broadly useful high-rarity card from the opening gacha.
Reroll only if your first account misses its purpose
Rerolling is worth considering if you want a specific favorite, a specific limited banner card, or a stronger score-attack start. It is usually not worth it if your goal is casual song clearing, collection, or event story access, because early progression depends heavily on settings, practice, growth materials, and daily play.
Prioritize broad value over narrow conditions
The safest early targets are cards with score effects, combo support, life recovery, timing support, or flexible bonuses that work across many songs. Very narrow song, attribute, or situation bonuses may become strong later, but they are harder for a new account to use immediately.
Read tier lists as dated snapshots
External rankings are useful for comparison, but they can change when banners, events, or score formulas are better understood. Treat every tier list as a dated snapshot. Before recommending a card, check skill trigger, uptime, duplicate value, leader value, event bonus, and whether the ranking is for score, farming, or easy clears.
When to stop rerolling
Stop once you have one target card plus a workable supporting pool. A perfect reroll that delays account progress can lose value quickly because login rewards, event currency, song unlocks, and daily materials are time-gated. Record your start date and banner date when publishing reroll advice.
