Team Building Guide
How to build hololive Dreams teams for clears, score attack, events, and practice without mixing every goal into one misleading recommendation.
Decide the goal before choosing cards
A clear team, score team, event farming team, and practice team use different priorities. Start with the leader: read the leader's outfit effect and identify who can actually receive it, then fill member slots with passive skills and parameters that support that plan. Clear teams value life recovery, timing support, and consistency; score teams value effect uptime and chart fit; event teams may trade raw score for bonus rewards.
Separate card strength from holomem growth
Card level, duplicate progress, Holomem Board upgrades, personal-song bonuses, leader bonuses, outfit effects, and member passive skills can all change the best team. After checking eligibility for the leader effect, align the parameters it scales where practical. When comparing two cards, note whether the difference comes from the card itself or from account investment already placed into that holomem.
Avoid overlapping effects without checking uptime
Early community testing suggests timing and overlap matter. Several similar score boosts can be weaker than expected if they crowd the same window, while a balanced setup may cover more of the song. Record card order, activation window, cooldown, and whether a support effect is always active or only active during a short section.
Build around the chart, not only the card list
A team that performs well on one song may lose value on another because note count, combo thresholds, leader song bonus, attribute match, and judgement stability are different. For public recommendations, attach teams to a song, event, or purpose instead of presenting one universal best party.
Publish examples with constraints
Useful examples include no-reroll beginner clear, low-gacha score, event bonus farming, and high-investment score attack. List required cards, replaceable slots, skill purpose, and what data still needs verification. This makes the guide easier to update after patches.
